How it works

Three steps from your store to any site.

  1. Add a site.

Connect each website to its own sales channel in Shopify and choose which products it can sell. The setup guide ticks itself off as you go.

  2. Build a widget.

Pick a grid, carousel, swipe row, single product or buy button, choose the products, check the live preview and copy the embed code.

  3. Paste it and sell.

One script per site, one embed code where products should appear. Orders come back to Shopify tagged with the site and widget that sold them.

Three steps: install the Fik Satellites app, connect each site, and paste the embed code where the products go.

Features

Everything on every plan.

  • Five ways to show products

Grids, carousels, swipe rows for mobile, single product cards and plain buy buttons for your own layouts.

  • Cart and checkout

A cart that stays on the page and survives reloads, and checkout in your own Shopify store.

  • Sales by site and widget

Every order is tagged with its site and widget. See the split in the app, in Orders and in Shopify Analytics.

  • Widget editor

Choose layout, products, columns and heading, and watch a live preview before you copy the code.

  • Health checks

Each site is checked every few minutes. If a token, market or collection breaks, you see it first, with the fix.

  • Language that follows the page

English pages get English widgets and checkout, Spanish pages get Spanish. Prices follow the site's market.

  • GA4 and consent

Ecommerce events to your GA4 property, per site if you like, respecting Consent Mode v2.

  • Flow and Sidekick

Automate on site tags with Shopify Flow, and ask Sidekick which site sold the most this month.

See which site sold what

The sale comes home with its address.

A buy button can tell you something sold. It can't tell you where. With Fik Satellites every site sells through its own sales channel in Shopify, and every order carries two tags: the site and the widget. So the question "which site sold what" has an answer in the tools you already use.

Not clicks. Orders.

Sales by site in the app: orders and sales for each site and widget, an order tagged with its site and widget, and the matching GA4 event.
In the app
orders and sales by site and by widget for the last 30 days, and the latest orders.
In Orders
filter by site: or widget: tag, export, or open an order to see the site, widget and page.
In Shopify Analytics
copy a ready-made report by site or by widget, save it once, and it keeps itself up to date.
In Shopify Flow
trigger on any site's orders: notify a partner, tag the customer, route fulfilment.
In GA4
product views, add-to-carts and checkouts, tagged by site and widget, with purchases attributed through UTMs.
In Sidekick
ask in plain words which site sold the most, or why a site needs attention.

Reliability

A good guest on every site.

Your widgets live on sites you don't always control. So they're built to behave.

  • Isolated. Widgets render in their own layer. The site's CSS can't break them, and theirs can't leak into the site.
  • Invisible when wrong. If a setting is off or a service is slow, the widget stays hidden and the page looks exactly as before. Developers get a clear console message and a debug mode.
  • Light. One deferred script from a CDN, loaded after the page.
  • Watched. A health check per site flags problems in the app before shoppers find them.
  • Stable embed code. The embed code doesn't change when we ship updates.
Two web pages: one with a product carousel isolated in Shadow DOM, and one where a failed widget is hidden and only leaves a note in the console.

For developers

Paste, style, done.

Your client sends you an embed code. You paste one script in the site-wide header or footer and a div where products go. That's it.

  • A developer guide for every major CMS, in English and Spanish. No account needed, no store data in it.
  • Style with CSS custom properties and ::part().
  • Hook your own tracking to GA4-format events on window.
  • Works with page builders, AJAX navigation and client-side routing: late placeholders mount by themselves.
  • Debug with ?sfw-debug=1.
  • WordPress
  • Joomla
  • Drupal
  • Webflow
  • Squarespace
  • Wix
  • Ghost
  • HubSpot
  • React / Next

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is a "site"?

Any website outside your Shopify store where you want to sell: a microsite, a creator's page, a partner's site, a blog. Each one is connected in the app with its own sales channel. Plans are based on how many sites you connect.

Do I need a developer?

Not usually. It's one script line per site and one embed code per placement, and most site builders accept both. If someone else runs the site, send them our developer guide.

Which website platforms does it work with?

Any site that lets you add a script. The developer guide covers WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Ghost, HubSpot and React/Next. Some site builders only allow custom code on paid plans.

Where do customers pay?

In your own Shopify checkout, with your payment methods, shipping rates, discount codes and branding. Orders arrive in Shopify like any other.

How do I see which site sold what?

In the app's home page, by site: and widget: order tags in Orders, with ready-made reports in Shopify Analytics, in Flow, in GA4 and by asking Sidekick.

Can it break my site?

It's built not to. Widgets are isolated from the site's CSS, and if anything goes wrong they stay hidden and the page looks as it did before.

Does it work in other languages and currencies?

Widgets follow the page's language when it's English or Spanish, through to checkout; other languages use the site's default. Prices and currency follow the Shopify market you choose for each site.

Is it GDPR-friendly?

GA4 is optional. When it's on, widgets respect Google Consent Mode v2 and start with analytics consent denied if the page has no Google tag. The cart is kept in the browser without cookies.

We use the Shopify Buy Button. Can we switch?

Yes. Build a widget for the same products, replace the old embed code with the new one, and from then on every order is attributed to its site and widget.

Do you take a cut of sales?

No. You pay a flat monthly price by number of sites, or nothing on the Free plan. 0% commission on every plan.

Your store has more reach than it thinks.

Start with one site, free. Add the rest when you're ready.
